We're looking for a Plymouth based Lead Stage Manager for a Mayflower 400 site-specific project

In partnership with Arts Council England, Plymouth City Council and Theatre Royal Plymouth this project fuses myth, legend, science, puppetry & aerodynamics into one unforgettable event, which will use the city centre of Plymouth and The Hoe as a stage.

The event is a major site specific project programmed as part of Mayflower 400 in Plymouth 2020. The creative team include puppet director of War Horse, Mervyn Millar, a world champion kite flier and set designer for Bjork, Carl Robertshaw, award winning Artistic Director Angie Bual and producers from Trigger.

As Lead Stage Manager, you will be responsible for a two person Stage Management team and volunteers, as well as working alongside creative/ production teams, cast, crew and other external partners.

We are looking for someone with experience in working as part of a stage management team and large-scale size ensemble casts on site-specific projects. Experience of working with large-scale puppets is desirable but not essential. Applicants must be based in Plymouth or have a base in Plymouth from which they can work. We encourage people from BAME backgrounds to apply.

We are on the lookout for more puppeteers and performers to be part of a large scale performance event that is being created for Plymouth. You would be working with one of the original puppetry directors of War Horse to develop a brand new site specific production.

Call out! City Hall Debate Director

We are looking for a Director based in Plymouth to direct the City Hall Debate as part of a major new site specific work that is in development for Plymouth. The creative team include puppet director of War Horse, Mervyn Millar, a kite world champion flier and set designer for Bjork, Carl Robertshaw, Artistic Director Angie Bual and producers Trigger.

We are super psyched to have won a £91,500 organisational development grant!
