We are delighted to announce our new Interim Director & CEO – introducing Emma Hogg who is coming in to cover Natalie Adams' maternity leave. Emma will be joining us for 9 months from September 2024 to support the team and exciting programme ahead.
About Emma Hogg:
Emma is an experienced arts leader particularly in the realms of strategic development and organisational evolution. She has a passion for developing arts and theatre outside of traditional arts venues and nurturing their power to create community cohesion with over 10 years at Wildworks Theatre and previously Eden Project Cornwall.
Emma was born and grew up in Cornwall with a childhood of Kneehigh Theatre, The Minack and community productions. After gaining a BA (Hons) in Human Geography at the University of Lancaster, returned to join the Eden Project where she worked for 13 years with her final role being Eden Live Programme Producer. Emma then held the role of CEO for Wildworks, where she played a critical role for the organisation, particularly in the wake of the Founding Director’s death and throughout the pandemic, securing the company’s National Portfolio relationship with Arts Council England and most recently delivering the organisation’s highest fundraising total to date through the Shared Prosperity scheme. Emma successfully led Wildworks to deliver multiple projects and has been instrumental in the development of key national and international relationships and cross sector partnerships.
Emma has a strong producing background at Eden and throughout her time with Wildworks, with recent credits including I am Kevin in Cornwall 2022 and the film version that played at cinemas in 2023. Emma is a strong advocate for talent development within the sector. Emma was a Trustee for Yskyna Aerial Dance Company from 2019-2022 and then joined the Theatre Alibi board in 2022, stepping into the role of Chair in 2023 where she is supporting the company to navigate significant organisational change and transition to a new business model.
Emma says: “I have watched and admired Trigger Stuff and their trajectory over the last few years and I am delighted to support and lead the company over the coming months. The range and depth of work in development and delivery is tremendous and I’m excited to be a part of it and the fabulous team.”
