Nest

From September 2011

Nest is part of the 2012 Cultural Olympiad. It’s Northern Ireland’s Artists taking the lead project, one of twelve public art commissions taking place across the UK.

Nest is an orchestral performance involving over 500 singers and the incredible Ulster Youth Orchestra.
Nest is an art installation made from thousands of donated objects.
Nest is an archive of photos, labels, stories and films.

A kind of unusual census: Nest is a unique study of people, their hidden stories and their habitats: a collection of individual moments revealed through the relationship of people and the objects with which they surround themselves.

The Nest grand finale will take place at T13 in the heart of the Titanic Quarter, Belfast on 20, 21 & 22 July 2012.
